This auction is for a retro 70's vintage Harley-Davidson brown leather motorcycle jacket in nearly new condition. This jacket is size 36 and it's authentic AMF Harley-Davidson leather jacket. It is unisex and can be worn by men or women. With the retro look being popular all over again, this jacket is a treasure!
My husband and I purchased matching jackets new in the mid 70's before
we were married. In 1983 we quit riding after my husband was nearly
killed by a farmer pulling a chopper box at night with no lights. He was on his way to work and wearing his
old leather jacket which police and paramedics cut apart to get it off. His helmet and his leather literally saved his life. We can't say as much for the bike. The matching jacket to the one in this auction has been sold.
This jacket is like new. It is quality made
with a nice sturdy zipper in the front and on the sleeves. Front of
jacket has 2 snapping pockets. There is another snapping pocket on the
right inside. The jacket is brown leather.
There are snapping tabs on each side of the waistband and snapping tabs at the shoulders. Jacket has a quilted inner lining for added warmth. The back of the jacket is slightly extended in length to cover your back while riding. Other than being a bit smashed from storage there are no detectable blemishes. This jacket is very clean and in like new condition. Please understand that it is heavy for shipping.
