Flattering fit with set-in waist and shaping seams front and back. Wide lapel collar, double top-stitching, and two on-seam pockets at the hip. Fully lined in acetate. High quality, thick, supple leather. Measures 40" at the chest, 16" across the upper back (between the shoulder seams), 36" at the waist, 42" at the hip, 28" in length, and the sleeves extend 25" from the shoulder. Made in U.S.A. This is a very beautiful and extremely subtle vintage 1970's NB style jacket/shirt.
The leather is soft on all panels aside from the collar and cuffs, these are quite firm, i believe that this garment was made that way, as those to spots are spots of strain, it only makes sense for thicker hide to be yoused as a way of extra reinforcement.
The condition is fantastic!!
There are a couple of very small scuff marks here and there, the worst being on the left elbow, but aside from that and the last button is missing, this vintage custom made NORTH BEACH style whip stitch jacket is just perfect!!!
